Donald Gerald Killingsworth, 86, of Winona, Missouri, passed away on September 30, 2020, at NHC Healthcare in West Plains, Missouri. He was born on October 14, 1933, in Pinckneyville, Illinois, the son of Clyde and Gertrude (Echiolz) Killingsworth.
Donald was in the Navy from 1950-1953 as an underwater explosives expert. When he returned home, he made his living as a truck driver and a welder.
His wife, Vahedia, and parents, Clyde and Gertrude Killingsworth preceded him in death.
Survivors include son, Kevin Killingsworth of Dallas, TX; daughter, Melissa of IN; and one brother. He will be greatly missed by all who truly loved him.
Donald enjoyed fishing and loved to deer hunt. He especially enjoyed hunting with his buddy Danny, who he called “Hawkeye.”
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Winona, Missouri, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yabermortuary.com.
