Donald Gene Inskeep Sr. was born December 10, 1946, in Springfield, Missouri, and passed away June 20, 2024, at his home in Hartville, Missouri. He was 77 years, 6 months, and 10 days of age.
Donald grew up and attended school in the Springfield, Missouri area. He joined the United States Army when he was 17 years old and served his country as a combat engineer in the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1968. He also worked many different odd jobs throughout the years, but his main career was as an over-the-road truck driver. Donald valued his family and he enjoyed spending time with his brothers, sisters, children, and grandchildren.
Donald was preceded in death by his mother, Blanche Jennings, two brothers, Mitchell Inskeep and John Inskeep, and one grandson, Jonathan Tyler Inskeep.
He is survived by five sons, Lloyd Inskeep, Jason Inskeep, Donald Inskeep Jr., Thomas Inskeep, and Mitchell Inskeep, one sister, Ona Mae “Pete” Gibler, ten grandchildren, Jessica, James, Noah, Krysta, Karson, Rayden, Sonya, Jessica, and Chase, four great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Pheonix, JoyceAnna, and Dylan, and many nephews and nieces who will miss him.
