Donna Marie Brooks, 55, of Mountain View, Missouri, passed away December 14, 2021, at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri. She was born September 19, 1966, in Mountain View, Missouri to Virgil Ray and Donneta Mae (McClellan) Brooks.
Those surviving are her fiancé, Jerry Denton of Mountain View, MO; children, Kayla Tanguay and Joshua Brooks, both of Mountain View, MO; siblings, Ricky and Shirley Brooks of Bourbon, MO, Donald and Ruth Brooks of Houston, MO, Vernon and Brenda Brooks, Ronnie Brooks and Bobby Brooks, all of Mountain View, MO, and Brenda Sheigh, of West Plains, MO; grandchildren, Kingston, Kaliyah, Cheyanne, Isabella, Jace, Kayden, Colton, Makenzie, Savannah; stepchildren, Alicia Denton of Mountain View, MO, Aaron Denton, Micheal Callahan, April Denton, Ashley and Chris Vance, all of Eminence, MO; and several nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
Her parents, Virgil Ray and Donneta Mae Brooks; grandparents, Vern and Virginia McClellan; and one brother, Melvin Brooks precede her in death.
Donna loved to play Bingo and spend time with her family and grandkids. She also liked to play cards and to shop. The holidays were her favorite time of the year. She loved working and spending time with her fiancé, Jerry. She loved couponing and collecting Pioneer Woman things. She also loved sitting on the porch.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on December 21, 2021, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with JD Mattison officiating. Visitation will be held on December 20, 2021, from 6-8:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Dell Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri.
