Doris Earlene Searcy, 78 years, 8 months, 22 days old, passed away on June 6, 2023 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava, Missouri.
Doris was born September 15, 1944 in Lutie, Missouri to Ottie and Bonnie (Sherrill) Long.
Doris was a loving mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.
Doris enjoyed spending time with her adult children, her grandchild, and her two great grandsons.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred, her sister, Avis Miller and her nephew Aaron Miller.
Doris is survived by her children, Greg Friend (wife Patricia) and Leslie Yearwood; one grandchild (Bobbi Breshears); two great grandchildren (Jericho and Victor Breshears); neice (Paula Kip) and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Graveside services for Doris will be Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. in the Ava Cemetery. Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Missouri. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The National MS Society at www.nationalmssociety.org
