Earl James Wall

Earl James Wall, 65 years, 7 months, and 16 day old, passed away on November 19, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri with family by his side.

Earl was born April 3, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to Earl Martin and Loretta Veronica (Laske) Wall.

Earl grew up in the Ava community and graduated from Ava High School in 1975.

He was a retired U. S. Army Veteran whom proudly served his country from

1977 to 1997.  He worked in the U.S. Army Motor Transportation Department. He served in Korea, Germany, Hawaii and several military bases in the U.S.  After his retirement from the Army he worked for the T.S.A. for the Springfield Branson Airport. He also worked at Missouri State University and as a Campground Host in Missouri and Colorado. He finally parked his RV in Galveston, TX, where he loved his ocean view and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Earl is survived by his sister Sherry Ross of Springfield, MO; his daughter and her husband, Ashley & Robert Garn; six grandchildren, Aiden, Aryana and Aksel, Mason, Alyssa and A.J.; one niece, Stephanie Ross and two nephews, Brian and Jonathan Ross; 11 great nephews and nieces; one great great nephew; many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Memorial graveside services will be Monday, November 28, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Road Springfield, Mo 65804 with full military honors. Cremation and services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Ava, Mo.
