Earl T. Baker

Earl Thomas Baker (Earl J) of Cabool, MO was born on March 5th, 1952 in a little white house on Pea Ridge Road to Elmer and Frances Baker.  Earl departed this earth surrounded by those who loved him on October 19th, 2022, in the same little white house at the age of 70.

Earl was a 1970 graduate of Cabool High School.  He was a jack of all trades and had many jobs ranging from cowboy to construction worker. He was a stranger to no one and found great joy in telling his adventure stories to those around him.  He loved to be outdoors no matter what he was doing.  He could be looking for arrowheads or for the next big wooly beast and you would always find him smiling.  Through the years Earl loved fishing and canoeing with his friends, children and grandchildren.

Everyone who knew Earl felt his big heart and giving nature. He was always there to help someone in need.  This is a value he instilled in his children.  Although we will miss him dearly, we take comfort in knowing that he is now resting in the arms of the lord and all those who went before him.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Allen Baker.  He is survived by his wife, Cindy Baker of Cabool, MO; sister, Ellen Brown of Cabool, MO; son, Ace Baker and wife, Amanda of Seymour, MO; daughter, Kelsey Doeden and husband, Justin of Elkland, MO; 8 grandchildren, Hailey, Nathan, Brayden, Destiny, Jayse, Cole, Elmer and Kyeson and one great grandson, Oliver James.
