Eric Ray Bell, 39-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born April 16, 1985, in Doniphan to the late Charles Kenny Reynolds and Sherry Bell.
Eric was a welder and had worked in substations. He had also worked on a cattle ranch. Outgoing and a jokester, Eric enjoyed spending time with his friends, and he was often heard to say, “That’s what the boots are for.” He was an excellent guitarist and enjoyed playing for his family and friends. He also liked to explore state parks and woodworking. Another of Eric’s talents was working on vehicles.
Surviving are his children, Erica Bell of Alton, MO and Isaac Bell of Doniphan; brothers, Dustin Reynolds, Adam Reynolds, and Brent Reynolds, all of Doniphan; and his fiancé, Samatha Foster of Doniphan. Also surviving are his grandmother, Mary Ann Reynolds of Poplar Bluff, MO; stepchildren, Benjamin and Luke Ruhl, Makayla Foster, and Hannah Sherrion; stepmother, Bonnie Reynolds; aunt, Paula (Joey) Wilkerson of Alton; and uncle, Thomas (Mei) Bell of Kansas City; as well as many friends and other family members.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Sue Bell.
Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday. August 8, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m. Brother Bruce Williams will be officiating.
