Ervin Dale Carpenter was born in Summersville, Missouri on January 11, 1943 to Charles and Ella (McCallister) Carpenter. He passed away on November 1, 2021 at his home near Summersville at the age of 78.
Ervin Dale grew up in the Summersville area and graduated from Summersville High School with the Class of 1960.
He was united in marriage to Karon (Terrill) Carpenter on May 27, 1962 in Summersville and they were blessed with two children, Dena and Charles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ella and his father- in-law, Dwain Terrill.
Ervin Dale is survived by his wife Karon; daughter Dena Carpenter; son, Charles Carpenter; grandchildren, Rebecca Flagg and her husband Mike and Alex Carpenter as well as 2 great-grandchildren and his mother-in-law, Wilma-Lee Terrill.
He was a member of the Eunice Baptist Church and the Christian Motorcycle Association.
Ervin Dale enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and especially working on the farm. He loved riding his motorcycles and spending time with his family. He was also an excellent clock repairman and was well known for his work on them. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
