Eska Willene Montgomery

Eska Willene Montgomery, 90, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Shady Oaks Healthcare Center in Thayer, Missouri. Eska was born on September 28, 1933, to Karl Hans Lange and Esther Delzora (Wells) Lange in Heart, Arkansas.

Eska was united in marriage to Morris Junior Montgomery on May 31, 1952, in Salem, Arkansas. Eska worked as a salesclerk and loved taking care of her children and family.  Eska never met a stranger, loved people and people loved her, and enjoyed talking on the phone with family and friends. Eska was a member of the Mammoth Spring Church of Christ in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas and served her God daily. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, friend.

Eska leaves to mourn her passing three daughters, Genia Frazier of Salem, Arkansas, Denise Fisher and husband Tom of Searcy, Arkansas, and Rebecca Harper and husband Ron of Hardy, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Jan Montgomery of Madisonville, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Ricky Frazier and wife Carrie, Amanda Baker and husband Zac, J. T. Fisher, Montgomery Fisher and wife Shelby, Peyton Fisher, Burgin Green and husband Jake, and Madison Harper; four great grandchildren, Dylan Smith and wife Allison, Aubrey Baker, Abby Baker, and Beckham Green; great great grandson, Charlie Smith; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband (Morris Montgomery), son (Kenny Montgomery), parents (Karl and Esther Lange), son-in-law (Richard Frazier), two sisters (Norene Lange and Ruth Martin), and two brothers (Don Lange and Doyle Lange).  

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Mammoth Spring Church of Christ in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas with Minister Barry O’Dell officiating. Interment will be in the Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Ricky Frazier, Jake Green, J.T. Fisher, Montgomery Fisher, Peyton Fisher, and Zac Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be Garrett O’Dell and Dalin Combs. Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
