Fonda Louise Dean was born on November 21, 1948, in Arroll, Missouri, to her loving parents, Frank and Thelma (Brooks) Dean. She peacefully departed from this world on November 14, 2024, at the age of 75, in West Plains, Missouri.
Fonda dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse aide at a local nursing home. Her compassionate nature and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many patients under her care. Fonda’s work ethic and dedication were unparalleled, making her an invaluable member of the healthcare industry.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Frank and Thelma Dean, and sisters, Veda Johnson and Donna Orchard.
She is survived by her sister, Wanda Orchard, and her husband, Clark, and a host of nieces and nephews. Fonda will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Fonda enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and gardening. She loved to feed and watch the birds, especially the hummingbirds.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on November 21, 2024, at Arroll Cemetery in Arroll, Missouri, with Pastor George Smith officiating under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
