Gerald is survived by four daughters, Betty Jo, Eva Gail, Joyce Sue (Dewayne), and Merry Catherine (David); one son, John Lee (Kimberly); 35 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

He quit school in the 9th grade and worked all sorts of jobs all over the Western part of the U.S. before settling down in Carter County then Shannon County, Missouri. Gerald loved breaking, riding, buying, selling, training horses, and participated in or led many trail rides. He bought and sold vehicles, and built several houses, but his proudest accomplishment was forming The Randolph Pump Company, which he passed down to his son, John, now John is passing it down to his son, Caleb.

Gerald’s most favorite thing to do was to go to church, read God’s Word, and talking to and telling people about Jesus. He led many people to the Lord and baptized them in the Name of Jesus Christ. He knew who Jesus is, and knew that Jesus IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Gerald knew that the only way to Heaven and eternal life is JESUS, and now he knows he was right!
