Glen Patrick Hyskell, 76 years, 5 days old, passed away on March 24, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Glen was born March 19, 1949, in Renton, Washington, to Robert and Kay (Kaminski) Hyskell.
In 1968, Glen and Gail moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where he started his family and where Lalena was born. In 1972 he traveled and then returned to Canada. In the 1980’s he returned to the States and met Jodie. Together they had two sons, Christopher and David. Glen moved to various states.
In the early 2000’s, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Vatterot College with a perfect GPA of 4.0.
Glen owned and operated the Computer Place in Ava for a few years. Before that he worked at Rawlings Sporting Goods Manufacturing, also in Ava.
His children loved their father very much. He was a kind, loving, and a very wise man. He worked very hard to support his family.
Glen was well traveled. He enjoyed music and photography. He had a large collection of his own photos that he had taken through the years. His father, Robert, and his grandfather, Roy Hyskell, were professional photographers, and he was proud of their accomplishments. Glen will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jeff Hyskell.
Glen is survived by his loving partner for many years, Anna Moore; his sons, David Hyskell and Christopher Hyskell, and a daughter, Lalena Marshall; his two grandsons, Robert and Ian Marshall; extended family and friends.
Cremation services for Glen are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO per his request.
