Graveside Services for Gloria Jean Cowens, Age 74 of West Plains, Missouri will be held on Tuesday, October 6th, 2026 in The Jolliff Cemetery, West Plains, Missouri, beginning at 2:00 PM under the direction of The Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, Missouri.

Memorial contributions may be made to Jolliff Cemetery, and can be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main Street, West Plains, Missouri.

Gloria passed away on September 24, 2026, in West Plains, Missouri, at the age of 74. She was born on August 30, 1952, in Franklin, Illinois, to Arthur Davis and Anna Wallace. On April 1, 1974, she was united in marriage to Bill Cowens.

Gloria was a loving and caring person who was always there for the people she loved. She had a generous heart and was always willing to help anyone in need, especially her family. She found great joy in caring for others and cherished the time she spent caring for her grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life, and she was always available with a helping hand, a listening ear, and a loving heart.

She enjoyed gardening and loved caring for animals. Gloria’s nurturing nature extended to all those around her, and she will be remembered for the love, kindness, and care she so freely gave to others.

Gloria is survived by her three children, Kara Bea, Billie Rhoads, and Scotty Cowens; six grandchildren, Christopher Kimball, Michael Rhoads and wife Kayla, Samantha Sorrell and husband Garrett, Dakota Evans, Austin Cowens, and Serenity Cowens; six great-grandchildren, Hadleigh, Tate, Hunter, Brayden, Landon, Liam, and one on the way, Bennett; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Davis and Anna Wallace; her husband, Bill Cowens; and her sister, Mary Ann Matules.
