Harold Lee Watts

Harold Lee Watts, 75 of Cabool, MO left this life on February 24, 2025 to join his family in Heaven.  He was born on November 3, 1949 in Poplar Bluff, MO to William A. and Versa Mae (Collins) Watts.  The family resided in Willow Springs, MO where Harold was the oldest of five children.

Harold graduated from Willow Springs High School with the Class of 1967.  He joined the US Army in 1969 where he became a combat soldier for the 4th Infantry Division and proudly served until receiving his honorable discharge in 1970 and returned to Willow Springs.  Shortly after he moved to Springfield where he worked for General Electric, Prestress Concrete and his favorite place of all; Pappy’s BBQ, where he met the rugby team.

Harold loved to coon hunt, just ask “Buckwheat” his most loved and loyal sidekick.  He also loved to ride his Harley, joining the Patriot Guard where he and his brothers had the honor to ride for many of their fellow veterans and was also a member of the CVMA Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 4/12 of Gainesville, MO.  Harold resided in Cabool for his final years to be close to family.  He was a caring soul, full of love and honor.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Donna Sue Watts Myers, Debra Faye Watts Grandstaff and Bonnie Lou Watts and one brother, John DarrelL Watts.  He is survived by 10 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews who will all miss him greatly.
