Ivy Gwendolene Jennings

Ivy Gwendolene Jennings, a resident of Willow Springs, entered into eternal life at her home Tuesday, January 7, 2025, with her family by her side. Ivy was born October 20, 1944, in Darby, England to Elbert and Gwendolene (Gorton) Tyler and was 80 years old.

Ivy graduated from Chamberlain High School in Tampa, Florida in 1962. After school, she entered the workforce and started a family. Through her first marriage she had two children, Tracy and Brody. She worked as a bank teller in Florida, then Bill’s Dollar Store, before finally working at Mountain View Fabrications where she worked on vending machines. In her free time, she loved to spend time with her family. She loved to play cards with her grandkids, especially Rummy. Ivy enjoyed hunting and spending time outside for both leisure and sport. She loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs and watching tennis anytime it was on tv. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Ivy was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and took her faith very seriously. On November 10, 2024, she rededicated her life to Jesus.

Ivy was preceded in death by her father, Elbert; her sister, Evelyn Morey; her granddaughter, Sasha Truett; and her husband, Mark Shaw.

She is survived by her mother, Gwendolene; her daughter, Tracy Fair; her son, Brody Fair and wife, Brooke; her grandchildren, Emily Fair, Madelyn Fair, Mikayla Shelley, and Chyann Watts; her great grandchildren, Adilee, Kamryn, Solarah, Riley, Caleb, Cooper, Jacobey, and Gibson; and her niece, Michelle Morey.
