James “Butch” Kenneth Eldried, 67, of Glencoe, Arkansas departed this life on October 20, 2019 in Salem, Arkasnas. James was born to the late Ernest Albert Eldried and Mildred Bernice (Webb) Eldried on June 14, 1952 in Batesville, Arkansas.
Butch was united into marriage to Ester Faye Willison on June 15, 1973 in Salem, Arkansas and to this union two sons were born. Butch worked twenty six years for Tri County Shirt Company in Salem, Arkansas and then nine years for Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Butch loved spending time with his family and grandson and was a member of the Salem Church of Christ in Salem, Arkansas. Butch loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Butch was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He leaves to mourn his passing; wife, Ester Eldried of Glencoe, Arkansas; two sons, Kenneth Eldried of Glencoe, Arkansas and James Eldried of Glencoe, Arkansas; grandson, Braxton Eldried of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; brother, Mike Eldried of Alton, Missouri; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother (Paul Eldried).
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. David Gibson and Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Barker Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Elbert Layne, Michael Havner, Curren Everett, Aaron Worsham, Andy Combs, and Jonathon Goodson. Honorary pallbearers are Steve McCullough and Jim Johnson. Interment will be at the Union Cemetery in Union, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
