Jim Pry, 79, of Bakersfield, MO, formerly of Harrisburg, AR, passed away March 6, 2021 at his residence. He was born July 3, 1941 at home in Oil Trough, AR to Richard David and Winnie Pearl (Hawkins) Pry.
On September 15, 1962 Jim was united in marriage to Elizabeth Ann Price. He was of the Baptist faith, he was a truck driver and a cotton ginner. He loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Ann of the home in Bakersfield, MO; three daughters LaMaynena Dunn (Bobby) of Harrisburg, AR, Tracy Pry of Harrisburg, AR, Yancy Pry (Levi Lally) of Bakersfield, MO; one son Stuart Pry of Bakersfield, MO; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 8 sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter Beth Pry; and one daughter-in-law Kim Pry.
An open visitation will be held from Noon to 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with family receiving friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. The family has honored Jim’s wish for cremation following the visitation. A private family burial will be held later in the Maple Springs Cemetery.
