Jamey Lindal Swain

Jamey Lindal Swain, 38, of Missouri, was born on July 29, 1988, in Farmington, Missouri. He passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026, at Ozark Healthcare in West Plains, Missouri.

Jamey was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend. He was someone who could always be counted on and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever someone was in need. His kind heart, caring nature, and the love he had for those around him will forever remain in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Jamey spent his working years at Thayer Walmart, where he proudly served as a team lead. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing his video games, and enjoying the great outdoors. Some of his happiest moments were simply being surrounded by the people he loved.

Jamey leaves behind his loving wife, April Swain, and his son, Jamey Swain Jr. He is also survived by his father, Kelly Swain; his mother, Selina Rosa-Swain; his sister, Cassie Jarvis; his brother, Clay Swain; his grandmothers, Linda Moses, Sandy Barton and Kena Rosa; his grandfather Russell Rosa, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles Douglas Swain, Perry Barton and Grandfather in-law Lee Collins; his mother-in-law, Janet Bridges; his father-in-law, Gary Bridges; and his grandmother, Letha Collins

Jamey’s time with us may have been far too short, but the memories he created and the love he gave will live on forever. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
