Jan E. Madden, 77, of Gainesville, MO went to be with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on May 23, 2024 with her loving husband by her side. She was born February 8, 1947 to Joan M. and Vernon T. Huffine in Bellflower, CA, where she later graduated from high school in 1965.
On February 3, 1967 she was united in marriage to John A. Madden in California. The couple raised two wonderful children. They lived throughout southern California where Jan worked as a manager in several restaurants. After retiring, they moved to Gainesville, MO where Jan worked at the volunteer library.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Madden; two children Jarran Madden and Jacinde Franusich; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Jan was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and one grandson.
No local services are planned at this time. Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
