Jeanie Katherine Estes was born March 26, 1950 at Gunnison, Colorado to Kenneth C. and Norma Jean (Seago) Beasley. She entered her heavenly home on May 8, 2023 at the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Missouri at the age of 73 years, 1 month and 14 days.
She was united in marriage to Jerry A. Estes on August 24, 1968 and to their union 2 sons were born, Jeremy and Jonathan.
Jeanie grew up in Gunnison, Colorado until the age of 13 when her family moved to Summersville to be close to Kenneth’s parents. She attended Summersville Schools beginning in the 8th grade until she graduated with the Class of 1968. She spent the rest of her days living in the Summersville area.
She attended Midvale Church her entire life. She also served on the Bethel Cemetery Board as well as secretary for the Carroll Township.
Jeanie enjoyed an active outdoor lifestyle, riding horses, hunting, fishing and gardening. She loved to travel, especially to the mountains. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Norma Beasley; a brother, Kenny Beasley and brother-in-law, Ray Kennedy.
Jeanie is survived by her husband of almost 55 years, Jerry Estes; sons, Jeremy and wife Mary Ann Estes and Jonathan and wife Pamela Estes; grandkids, John Estes, Benjamin Estes, Brittany Brown, Andrew Estes, Nicholas Estes and Nathan Estes; one great granddaughter; her siblings, Marium Kennedy, Cindy and husband Dave Henry and Allen and wife Stephanie Beasley; sister-in-law Wanda and husband Donnie Martin as well as multiple nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
