Jeffrey Ray Cole was born on July 15, 1961, in Cabool, MO to Jesse and Louise (Stark) Cole. He passed away on April 21, 2024, in Cabool, MO.
Jeffrey married Marrie Story on July 15, 1978, and they enjoyed 45 years together. To this union four children Jennifer, Matthew, Renae, and James were born. Jeffrey was a dedicated employee of Intercounty Electric for 33 years before he retired. He enjoyed tending to his garden and watching Purple Martins. He liked to go hunting and fishing, but he especially loved to go white bass fishing.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Cole; stepfather, Ronnie Shelley; and brothers, Randy Cole and Dow Shelley.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marrie (Story) Cole; mother, Louise Shelley; his children, Jennifer (Scott) Jackson of Hillsboro, OR, Matthew Cole of Cabool, MO, Renae (Jamie) Owens of Paragould, AR, and James (Megan) Cole of Cabool, MO; brother, Ronnie (Emily) Shelley of Cabool, MO; sisters, Raetta (Mike) Kirkman of Oklahoma City, OK, Becky Shelley of Cabool, MO, Tammy (Kenneth) Frame of Cabool, MO, Lisa (Roger) Wake of Cabool, MO, Pam (Joe) Shane of Aurora, MO, and Rhonda (Denny) Stevens of Licking, MO; grandchildren, Mia Jackson, Kaylee Cole, Lucas Cole, Abby Cole, and Lexi Cole; as well as many other extended family and friends.
He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
