Jensen Lee Mahurin, son of Dannie and Lori (Clark) Mahurin, was born on October 14, 2004, in Mexico, Missouri. He was tragically taken from this life on October 28, 2026, near Norwood, Missouri, at the age of 22 years and 14 days.
Jensen grew up in Mountain Grove then later moved to Norwood as a young teenager. He was saved and baptized at a young age at the Crossroads of Faith Church and had recently been attending at Mansfield Assembly of God. Jensen graduated from Norwood High School, class of 2023. He was united in marriage to Catelin Campbell on September 6, 2025, in Stoutland, Missouri.
Jensen worked as an auto mechanic but welding always had a piece of his heart. He also enjoyed tinkering and piddling in his spare time. Jensen had a kind heart and cheered everyone on. He helped anyone who needed it and enjoyed learning new things. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his girls, Catelin and Amelia. Jensen was a loving, devoted husband and father. Being a girl dad was the role he cherished most and he was so excited to have another baby girl. He was known as ‘babe’ to many, courtesy of Amelia, and that is something he loved deeply.
Jensen was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clive and Edna Mahurin; and his maternal grandfather, Don Jensen.
Jensen is survived by his wife, Catelin Mahurin; his daughter, Amelia Norman; his baby girl due in March; his parents, Dannie and Lori Mahurin; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kevin and Carla Campbell; his brother, Landon Brant (Kristin); his sister, Brandy Webb (Michael); his maternal grandmother, Joy Jensen; his sister-in-law, Megan Campbell; his brothers-in-law, Austin and Nathan Campbell; and many other relatives and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
