Jerry loved the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in the garden.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene Ellis Sr. and Lorrene Ellis as well as 4 brothers and a nephew.
He is survived by his companion of many years, Lori Perkins King of the home in Arroll; Christopher Allen Perkins, who Jerry helped raised and was like a grandson to him; a son, Gerald Jackson Ellis; brothers and sisters, Michael E. Ellis of Salinas, CA, Gloria J. Peterson of Jamestown, CA, Robert S. Ellis of Jackson, CA, Regina Murphy of Fort Worth, TX, and Haila Campbell of Greenfield, CA as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Jerry loved to help people and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was a friend to all and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
