Jerry Stover, 65, of Brixey, MO passed away April 30, 2022 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO after a short illness. He was born to George and Ruby Stover in West Plains, Missouri on February 26, 1957.
Jerry attended school in Independence, Ava, and Dora. Jerry joined the US Air Force in 1978 and was a airplane mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base for AWACS in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jerry was known for excelling at his jobs and was sent on numerous temporary duty assignments to Saudi Arabia. If someone had a problem, they would go to Jerry to help them get it fixed. Jerry was a very capable, exceptional, and unique individual. Jerry put all of his effort into everything he was doing. After fulfilling in the time with the Air Force he moved back to Ozark County. Jerry had been a very private person with a small group of friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, one son, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jerry is survived by his wife Debra, children Jerry, Casey, Shanna, and Amanda, 7 grandchildren, and one great grandchild, and numerous relatives and friends. He will be extremely missed.
Funeral services with Full Military Honors will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Davin Friend officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
