John Steven Beavers

John Steven Beavers, 65, of Willow Springs, died September 8, 2023, in his home after a sudden illness. John was born in Mountain View, Missouri, to Don and Christine (Galloway) Beavers on June 30, 1958.

John graduated from Willow Springs High School in 1976 and worked many years as an over-the-road truck driver, a profession he loved. John was an avid hunter and fisherman. He got his first horse at the age of 5, and he loved his horses, riding them and participating in rodeos. John laughed loud and often and loved a good joke or prank. John had a huge heart for his family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law; two sisters, Nancy Frazier and Donna Toya; three brothers-in-law, G.S. Pace, Wally Frazier, and Gerald Myers; one nephew, Jeremy Crabtree; and one great-nephew, Easton.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbie (Campbell) Beavers; his sisters and brothers, Jean Pace, Dick Toya, Catherine (Mel) Weekley, Richard (Cheri) Beavers, Beth (Dennis) Bedell, Cindy (David) Crabtree, Tim Beavers, and Greg (Debbie) Beavers; and many nieces and nephews, all who adored him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
