Johnny Wayne Dillard, 67, of Eminence, Missouri, passed away on December 30, 2022. He was born on June 25, 1955, to John Henry Jackson and Myrtle (Key) Dillard in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Johnny married Dorothy Sandra Gilbert, and to this union, four children were born. He was a “jack of many trades” including truck driving, mechanic, and millwright.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, John and Myrtle Dillard; two sisters, Shirley Haynes and Leslie Faulke; and one brother, Lester McGowan.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy, of the home; four children, Alice (David) Lyon, John (Amy) Dillard, Bill Dillard, and Rachael (Steven) Williams; eight grandchildren, Cassy Lyon, Cadence Williams, Madison Williams, Emily Lyon, Evan Williams, Piper Williams, Gentry Dillard, and Dalton Warren; sister, Carol (Carey) Murrell; brother L.M. McGowen; nephews, Ronnie (Chris) Haynes and Edward Haynes; nieces, Leeann (Nick) Ivy and Laura Haynes; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Johnny was a hard worker and loved his family above all else. He enjoyed playing poker, shooting pool, fishing, 4-wheeling, racing cars, fishing and camping on the river with his kids.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
