Memorial Services for Joseph “Joe” Sackett, Age 67 of Mountain View, Missouri will take place on Monday, September 14th, 2026 at The Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, beginning at 2:00 PM. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 1:00 PM.
Joseph Sacket, age 67, passed away on September 8, 2026, in Mountain View, Missouri. He was born on December 30, 1958, in Washington, DC, to Peter and Mary (Dezelan) Sacket.
Joe proudly served for 20 years in the United States Army. After completing his military service, he continued his dedication at Fort Leonard Wood for another 20 years as a civilian biomedical clinical engineer. His commitment to helping others extended beyond his professional life. He was an active Mason for 26 years and took great pride in serving as a Past Master of Lodge 637.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mary Sacket.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Sacket, of the home; his daughter, Nikki Staszak, of Vermilion, OH; three brothers, Victor Sacket, of Lusby, MD, Kevin Sacket, of Cape Canaveral, FL, and Darrin Sacket, of Dublin, OH; one sister, Betty Warren, of Nashville, TN; his brother-in-law, John Musille, of Mountain View, MO; grandchildren Brooklyn, Allison, Abby, Jamison, Quinn, and Emma; and many nieces and nephews.
Joe loved the outdoors and found great joy in hunting and tinkering with his many projects. He had a special love for dogs and cherished the time he spent with his dog, Tootsie. Joe was always willing to lend a helping hand to his neighbors and friends and was someone they could always count on.
