Judith Ann Loomis, 77, of Eminence, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020. She was born April 25, 1943 in Eminence, Missouri, the daughter of Ralph and Georgia (Hines) Alcorn.
Judith married Thomas James Burrus in Eminence, Missouri, on September 2, 1961 and to this union two children were born, Shelly and Calvin. She later married Charles Loomis in Eminence, Missouri, on August 30, 1985.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Georgia; husband, Charles Loomis; sisters, Louise Johnson, Juanita Downey and infant brother, Conrad Alcorn.
Judith is survived by her son, Calvin Burrus and wife, Paula, of Eminence, MO; one daughter, Shelly McAfee and husband, Hobie, of Winona, MO; brother, Gary Alcorn and wife, Mary, of Eminence, MO; and one sister, Margie Taylor, of South Dakota. Also surviving are grandchildren, Molly Derryberry and husband, Matt, of Winona, MO, Nola McAfee of Winona, MO, Dalila Faria of California, Georgia Burrus of Salem, MO, and Shaley Burrus of Eminence, MO; and great-grandchild, Lincoln Derryberry of Winona, MO.
Judith attended the First Baptist Church in Eminence. She was employed by Angelica Uniform for many years. She also worked the Cross Country Trail Rides for many seasons where she loved meeting people. She loved music and enjoyed jig dancing.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Summers Cemetery, Ink, Missouri at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Eminence, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Summers Cemetery, c/o Allen Ramsey. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
