Kennwood graduated from school in Revere, Missouri and went on to attend a tech school to become a mechanic. Kennwood worked many years as a self-employed handyman and mechanic. He was a saved Christian, but always preferred to remain non-denominational. In 2022, Kennwood decided to give finding love a shot and found Kimberley Walden, the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his children and listening to music with deep bass and the volume turned up as loud as possible. He could be a stubborn man, but his family loved him dearly and he will be greatly missed.

Kennwood was preceded in death by his mother, Faith; his sister, Miranda; his grandparents, Patricia, James, and Shirley; and his uncle, Danny.

He is survived by his significant other, Kimberley; his daughter, Michaella; his son, Kyle; his daughter, Miranda; his son, Prestan; his father, James Shotts Jr.; his brother, James Shotts III and wife, Christine; his brother, Calvin Shotts; his sister, Andrea Shotts; his sister, Josephine Andrews; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenneth’s family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to their go fund me page at https://gofund.me/3a7bf08d. No services for Kennwood are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home, LLC. Online condolences may be left at www.willowspringsfuneralhome.com.
