Kevin Troy Freeman, son of the late Virgil Freeman, Kenneth Freeman, and Diane (Royal) Freeman was born on February 20, 1969 at Dr. Mitchem’s office in Mtn. Grove, MO and departed this life on March 19, 2022 at the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, MO. He was 53 years and 29 days of age.
Kevin was raised on a small farm in Bendavis, MO where he loved to coon hunt, fish, swim, camp, whittle and draw. He also enjoyed family get togethers and spending time with friends.
Kevin married Tammy Collins in 1996, two children were born to this union. Later in life he had two more sons from another relationship. He found his most recent partner in life Amanda Hall of many years who stood by him until his passing.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Freeman; stepfather, Lester Kenneth Freeman and one nephew, Tyler Dewayne Freeman. He is survived by his partner, Amanda of the home; the mother of his 2 oldest children, Tammy Freeman; three sons, Austin Freeman, Ethan Brown and Hunter Freeman; one daughter, Amber Freeman (Brad Thomas- fiancé); his mother, Diane (Royal) Freeman; two sisters, Kathy Akers and husband, Gary and Debbie Parsons and husband, Kelly; one brother, Ronnie Freeman; as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends that will greatly miss him. Although Kevin’s life was cut short, he touched the lives and hearts of many while he was here with us.
