Funeral services for Leonard Stirber, 93, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 21, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Stirber passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Ozarks Medical Center.
He was born January 9, 1931, at Chicago, Illinois, to George Stirber and Barbara Miller Stirber. Mr. Stirber served his country in the United State Coast Guard for 7 years. Leonard enjoyed gardening, canning, bird watching and woodworking. He loved his animals. Mr. Stirber was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by four children, Jeanette (Kevin), Karen (John), Tim and Corinne; five grandchildren; Jerry Jr., Brandy, Tim, Diana and Matt; four great-grandchildren, David Jr., Brianna, Hunter and Emma; one brother, Ray; and many nieces and nephews.
His parents, wife, one son, Leonard Michael Stirber, one brother, George (Bud) and two sisters, Margaret and Barbara (Cookie), preceded him in death.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to SBCA and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO 65775.
