Leslie Wayne Walberg was born January 1, 1952 at Hartshorn, Missouri to Gene Wellon and Zola Frances (Norris) Walberg. He passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 72.
Les grew up in the Hartshorn area. He worked in area sawmills and later went to work for the City of Berkely, Missouri retiring after 25 years and returning back to Hartshorn.
Les enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and especially loved to deer hunt. He was a gunsmith and liked to tinker on old clocks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Zola Walberg and a brother, Jeffrey Walberg.
Les is survived by daughters, Dana and Rebecca; siblings, Rita, Karla, Billy and Sherry as well as numerous other family members and friends.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
