Lester W. Clark

Lester W. Clark, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on July 14, 2024, at the Mountain Grove Autumn Oaks Caring Center surrounded by family, friends and loved ones.  He was born on August 27, 1943, in Douglas County, MO, to Cecil A. and Ruby J. (Sinks) Clark. 

Lester was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Fern Clark; siblings, Billy Strong, Jimmy Clark and Freda Remmer and a granddaughter, Teasha Clark.  He is survived by his siblings, C.J. Clark, Donna Atchison, Linda Neal, Judy Golden, Joyce Rainey, Wilma Horn and Shirley Vinson; his children, Edward Luton, Lee Ann Scott, Tammy Scott, Teresa Clark and Randy Clark and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy throughout his life.

Lester had a passion for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching old western shows, tinkering with lawnmowers, and cherished spending quality time with his family and friends. Lester was baptized in 2007, a testament to his faith in Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

Lester will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kindness, sense of humor and love for his family leave a lasting legacy that will be cherished forever.
