Linda Jane Beavers, 72, departed this life peacefully and surrounded by her family on October 29, 2019, in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on July 10, 1947, to Garland “Buck” and Ocelia (Hines) Beavers in Birch Tree, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Ocelia; and one sister, Mary Lee Beavers.
She is survived by sister, Judy Martin (Jim) of Birch Tree; brother, Clifford Beavers (Kristi) of Kansas City; nieces and nephews; Angela Baxter, Glenda Jones, Leonard Martin, Joyce Martin, Kathy Brink, Eddie Martin, Keith Beavers, Brett Beavers, and Timothy Beavers; several great-nieces and nephews; and her entire Church of God of Prophecy family.
Linda started her education at Turkey Oak Community School later attending Birch Tree High School and graduated from Kansas City Northwest High. After graduation, she worked for Army Hometown News and Faultless Uniform before moving back to Birch Tree. After moving back home she worked in-home care and at Richard Brothers Supermarket. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and attended Montier COGOP for many years until her health prevented her. Linda was a Christian who served the Lord our God for most of her life. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2019, at Church of God of Prophecy, Montier, Missouri with Melvin Snethern and Vic Elliot officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at Yarber Mortuary Chapel, Mountain View, Missouri. Interment will be in Montier Cemetery, Montier, Missouri.
