Linda Cheryl Langley

Linda Cheryl Langley, passed away peacefully, at her home, the morning of February 22, 2023, at the age of 65. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 17, 1957, to the late Harley and Betty (Yarber) Langley, Sr.

Linda’s memory will forever live in the hearts of those who survive; sister, Sharon (Walter) Scheks; brothers, Don (Doreen) Langley and Thomas Langley; niece, Lauren (Reagan) Tilley; nephews, Joshua (Jamie) Langley, Michael (Jessica) Scheks; two great-nieces; and three great-nephews.

In her professional career, she was an Executive Administrative Assistant who worked for several large companies and was partner of Quality Water Proofing and Gravel Shooters. Even more important to her than her career was her personal life. Throughout her life she attended Gospel Assembly Church, where she played flute and violin in the church band. Linda also played piano and organ. She loved travel, music, gardening, jewelry, and hosting parties for her friends and family. She was an avid animal lover who enjoyed a variety of pets including birds, cats, dogs, and horses. She was a free spirit who had a heart for any person or animal in need, always willing to lend a helping hand or give an encouraging word. Her memory will live on through the countless acts of love she showed to her family, friends, and strangers.

Visitation will be conducted on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 11:00 am to Noon, Gospel Assembly Church, 2535 Wise Road, North Canton, where the service for Linda will follow at the church at Noon. Brother Rick Moore will officiate. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mountain View, Missouri.

Memorial Contributions in Linda’s name may be made to Gospel Assembly Church.
