Linda Kay Fann was born August 29, 1948, in Marshfield, Missouri, to Arnold Webster “Jack” and Fern Helen (Lane) Barton, and she departed this life on May 5, 2023, at her home in Seymour, Missouri. She was 74 years, 8 months, and 8 days of age.
In 1967 Linda was united in marriage to Norman Dale Fann and to this union two children were born, a son, Norman “Dale”, Jr., and a daughter, Dedra.
Linda was a hard worker and prior to retirement she worked 40 years for the United States Postal Service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Fern Barton, three sisters, Bonnie Burks, Barbara Smith, and Alice Barton, a brother, Sammy Barton, and a brother-in-law, Calvin Young.
Survivors include her husband, Norman Fann, son, Dale Fann and wife, Nawassa, daughter, Dedra Helms and husband, James, ten grandchildren, Kursten and Dakota Branham, Kolby and Morgan Helms, Kenzie and Colten Levan, Sidney and Kody Payne, and Cassie and Aubrie Fann, seven great-grandchildren, Paisley and Troy Branham, Luke and Clark Helms, Tucker and Tinsley Payne, and Rinley Levan, plus two more on the way, a sister, Jackie Young, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Linda was a faithful member of the Born Again Church and served as treasurer for 20 years. She loved her family, her church family, and her friends dearly. Linda especially loved taking care of her great-grandchildren, working in her flower gardens, and making busy quilts for nursing homes.
