Linda L. (Grafton) Hale

Linda L. Hale, 75 of Mtn. Grove/Cabool left her Earthly Home on March 18, 2022 at the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, MO.  She was born on April 10, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN the daughter of Otis “Sarge” and Betty Grafton.

Linda was a hard worker, whatever it was she put her whole heart in it; from being a waitress, a factory worker or her latest of being a substitute teacher.  She loved her kids, they were her main accomplishment in life; but she did a couple of other pretty amazing achievements as well.  She received her GED in July of 1987 and also her Associates of Science Degree in December of 2012.

Linda had several hobbies, she loved her sports; especially the St. Louis Cardinals.  She had quite a green thumb, she loved gardening and working in her flower beds.  She loved spending time with her fur babies and spoiling them rotten.  Linda had the gift of gab, which she inherited from her dad.  

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Delmar and two grandsons, D’Artagnan and Tristen Durham.  She is survived buy her children, Kevin Durham and wife, Jeanie and Brent Durham and wife, Rhonda all of Houston, MO, Greg Hale and wife, Julie of Cabool, MO and Missy Hale of Mtn. Grove, MO; 7 grandchildren, Christina Campbell, Curtis Durham, Tabitha Ford, Talissa Durham, Nick Masters, Karena Hale and Brad Cook; 9 great grandchildren, Tyler Gross, Tucker Durham, Trapper Durham, Kaiden and Karsen Ford, Trenton Campbell, Hayden Topping, Kessler Durham and Morgan Masters; one brother, Charles Grafton and wife, Kathleen of Lombard, IL; one sister, Judy Brill and husband, Bobby of Cabool, MO; half-sister, Jerrie Lee Schneider of Arizona; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.  Linda is also leaving behind three dear friends, Lana Hensley, Betty Pounds and Thomas Brown.  She never met a stranger in her life and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Linda ‘Luvern’, you may be gone, but you will never be forgotten.
