Lisa Ann Davidson, 62, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Monday, December 9, 2024, at St. Louis University Hospital, in St. Louis, MO. She was born September 12, 1962, in Belleville, IL, to the late Reverend Paul Junior and Helen Miranda (Pinnon) Davidson.
Lisa was a woman of many talents and a heart full of love for her family and faith. She had worked in home health, and in earlier years she had her CDL license, allowing her the opportunity of being a truck driver. However, her life revolved around her family. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly, finding joy in every moment spent with them. It was this love and devotion that defined her. Lisa enjoyed listening to music and was an Elvis Presley fan. Her father was a minister, and Lisa was proud of that heritage and would introduce herself as a preacher’s daughter. That foundation remained a cornerstone of her life and her faith was very important to her. Lisa had a tender heart which she exhibited to those around her, and it extended to a love of animals, especially horses.
Surviving is her daughter, Ashleigh (Derek) Parham of Fairdealing; MO, a son, Jordon Davidson of Doniphan; a sister, Debbie (T.J.) Bohannon of Pearland, TX; brothers, Paul Ray (GiGi) Davidson of League City, TX, Matthew (Beckie) Davidson of Dickinson, TX; and a brother-in-law, Vince Dyal of Mobile, AL. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Landon Parham, Anberlin Parham, and Kayden Davidson and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Lee Medders; a sister, Janice Dyal; and a niece, Mindy Davidson.
Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 13, 2024, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Harold Sheppard officiating.
