Lucas Leroy Simmons, SR, age 75 of Alton, MO was born April 26, 1948, in Glen Allen, MO and passed away September 30, 2023.
Survivors include three children, Wayne and Sherry Simmons, Glenda Simmons, Clint and Tanya Simmons, seven grandchildren, Cory, Savannah, Luke, Clayton, Tyler, Dustin and Makenzie, seven great-grandchildren, Jackson, Mya, Parker, Emmett, Graham, Aiden and Ellie, two brothers, Sammy and Calvin Simmons, three sisters Jenette Kirkpatrick, Jenell York, Janesce Sheperd and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Edna Ruth Simmons, his wife Adrian Rebecca Simmons, son Lee Simmons, brothers Charles, Jerry, Van and Elvin Simmons, sister Jenene Hall.
Services will be at 2:00pm Friday, October 6, 2023, at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Dustin Kirkpatrick and Eric King officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2:00pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial in the Bailey Cemetery with full military honors.
