Lyle James “Jimmy” Rowe

Lyle James Rowe, 90 years, 4 months, and 15 days old, passed away on February 23, 2025 at Heart of the Ozarks.
Jimmy was born October 8, 1934 in Sweden, Missouri to Leonard and Ruth (Warren) Rowe.
Jimmy was an Army Veteran and served honorably.
Jimmy was a Tug Boat Captain for U.S. Steel for many years and eventually retired from there.
He enjoyed Crappie Fishing, grilling and barbecuing.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Jan Blackwell and Donna Kay Rowe; siblings, Bobby Rowe, J.D. Rowe, Billy Rowe, Russ Evans, Helen Breeding, Donna Osborn, and Florence Stutts.
Jimmy is survived by his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Barbara Rowe; his son, Robert Rowe; two grandchildren, Chuck Johnson and Bobby Bull and his wife Chasity; great-grandchildren, Tyler Bull and Kyla Bull; siblings, Sue Downs, Katy Downs, Becky Stutts, Ellen “Oopie” Austin, and Leonard Rowe; and many other relatives and friends.
Cremation services for Jimmy are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.
