Marilyn Dawn Cantrell, daughter of Bobby Don and Virginia (Berry) Jones, was born on December 27, 1954, and passed away on April 20, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri. Marilyn was united in marriage to Keith Cantrell on November 29, 1975 and to this union was a ready-made family with Tonya and Bradley. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Keith; son, Bradley Cantrell; brother, Randy Jones; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Cantrell, Billy Cantrell, and Arnold Evans; and sister-in-law, Judy Evans. Marilyn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Stanley Huff; grandchildren, Ty Huff and Kennedy (Glenn) Pruett, and the most important, though, are her great-grandchildren (including their mom, August), Maddisyn, Alyvia, Whitlee, and Jensen Huff, Paisley and Casyn Pruett; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Lynnette) Cantrell; sister-in-law, Jean Cantrell; Aunts Debbie Kimmel and Coreen Williamson; and Uncle Boyd Berry; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Marilyn attended Boone Creek Baptist Church and later New Life Free Will Baptist Church until her health no longer permitted. She was known to offer help when and wherever it was needed. She was the one person every family member could call when they needed help, knowing she would find a way to make the situation better. Marilyn worked at Brown’s Shoe Company and HD Lee before taking on her career as a beautician at Carolyn’s Beauty Shop for 43 years. Marilyn has volunteered at the Licking Bridge Builders, cooking and baking for the last 10 years. Her pies, pies, pies, oh what a joy Marilyn got when she got to donate her coconut cream pies! One of her pies was bought for $900 one time! But we all know, it was priceless. Her absence will leave a deep void in our lives. Marilyn was deeply loved and will be dearly missed! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Licking Bridge Builders or Boone Creek Cemetery
