She grew up in Madison and graduated from the James Madison Memorial High School with the class of 1980.  Her father Francis had served his country in the Armed Forces and spent time in both Korea and Okinawa, which was something Marilyn was always very proud of.

Up until the time of her passing and while her health still permitted, she and Anthony began seeking the knowledge of Holy Scriptures through the Mtn. View Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Marilyn enjoyed caring for animals on the Gust family dairy farm for 6 years after she and Tony were married.  She then went on to become a food prep/server for 1st and 2nd grade students in the Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin School District.

She enjoyed traveling to Laura Ingalls History sites, reading books, watching movies and shows such as: Andy Griffith, Leave it to Beaver and Father Knows Best.  She also enjoyed puzzles and word searches but most of all loved pursuing knowledge of New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Ann Rosecky; uncles, John Rosecky and his wife Dorothy (Wiora) Rosecky and Tom and Mary Dolohanty.

She is survived by her husband Anthony J. Gust of the home.  Marilyn will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
