Funeral Services for Marilyn Kay Bell, Age 66 of West Plains, Missouri will be held on Saturday, August 29th, 2026 at The Langston Street Chapel of The Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, Missouri, beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place in The Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Pomona, Missouri.Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Youth Group, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
Mrs. Bell passed away at 7:05 a.m., Thursday, August 27, 2026 at her home.
She was born September 21, 1959, at Selma, California, to Bill Cropper and Marzie Durham Cropper. On April 11, 1980, she married the love of her life, Mark Bell. Together, they were blessed with two children, Mandy and Jacob. Marilyn’s pride and joy were her two grandsons, Isaac and Easton Harrison, whom she loved dearly. She cherished every moment spent with them – whether she was cheering them on, celebrating their milestones, doing things with them or simply making special memories together. Her love and devotion to her grandsons was boundless and will remain a treasured part of their lives. Marilyn and Mark were the proud owners of Bell’s Body Shop for more than 45 years. Their family business was a true labor of love and a lasting part of their legacy. Today, their son Jacob continues that family legacy by carrying on the business. Marilyn had a true servant’s heart. She loved people, loved giving hugs and was always willing to help others. She had a special gift for making people feel loved and cared for and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to taking care of her family. Marilyn spent many years serving at First Baptist Church of West Pains, where she served in many ways, including working with Sunday school classes and the decorating committee. Marilyn was a Christian of the Baptist faith. She loved Jesus Christ, her Savior and was baptized. Her faith was an important part of who she was and the life she lived.
She is survived by her daughter, Mandy Harrison and husband, Dustin; her son, Jacob Bell and Audrey Scott; her twin sister, Carolyn Whittingham and husband, Robby, West Plains; her brother, Randy Cropper, West Plains; her beloved grandsons, Isaac and Easton Harrison; and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Her parents, husband and one sister, Judy Hawkins, preceded her in death.
