Mark Alan Phillips, 60, of Franklin, Arkansas, passed away, Friday, August 9, 2024, at his home in Franklin.
He was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on December 23, 1963, son of Hayden and Rachel (McDonald) Phillips. During his working years Mark was a farmer and loved being outside on the farm. Mark served our country in the United States Navy. He was united in marriage to Lisa Kay Grooms on March 28, 2013, at Crowley’s Ridge College in Paragould, Arkansas. Mark enjoyed computers, games, watching movies, and all types of music. He loved animals, especially his cat, Smokey. Mark was of the Church of Christ faith.
Mark is survived by his wife, Lisa Phillips of Franklin, Arkansas; father, Hayden Phillips of Franklin, Arkansas; brother, Bryan Phillips and wife Cindy of Franklin, Arkansas and sister, Bonnie Coleman and husband Rob of Mountain Home, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Belinda Sue Phillips and mother, Rachel Phillips.
Pallbearers include: Rob Coleman, Bryan Phillips, Justin Coleman and James Phillips
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Doty Family Funeral & Memorial Service Chapel in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, beginning at 11:00 AM with Bro. John Schuhknecht officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Roberts Cemetery in Franklin, Arkansas.
