Marshall Coy Dean, 84, of Mountain Grove, passed away December 6, 2022 comfortably in his home surrounded by family after a stretch of illness. He was born April 7, 1938 at Rayborn, the son of James and Ethel (Lathrom) Dean. He was the youngest of six children.
As a child he often spoke of working on the Dean farm with his family. He worked as a professional over the road truck driver most of his life and truly enjoyed the road. Marshall loved the outdoors, hunting and traveling. He rode his motorcycle and went to 49 of the 50 States with his brother Russell. He accepted Jesus as his Savior in 2016 and baptized in 2022.
Marshall was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pam and his siblings, Ralph Dean, Alvin Dean, Essie Rice, Parthenia Bickford and Russell Dean. He is survived by his daughter, Terri Fawn Lowery, Stone Mountain, Georgia, his son, Marshall Thomas Dean, Clever, Missouri; three grandchildren, Joseph Lowery, Heather Lowery and Dekota Eagleburger; great grandson, Dayne Eagleburger; his Life mate, Linda Fostich of Mountain Grove, MO; as well as many other relatives and friends. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
