Marvin Dale Mohrman, Sr., a resident of Willow Springs, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. He was born to Gerhard William Carl and Evelyn Leona (Johnson) Mohrman in Cambridge, NE on May 8, 1940, and was 84 years old.
Marvin graduated from Holbrook High School in 1958. Shortly after, he joined the United States Air Force where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. During his service, he attended many different colleges. Following his service in the Air Force, he was employed as a Border Patrol Agent where he worked until retiring as the District Director of Immigration for Montana and Idaho. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, gardening, and watching football, especially his favorite college team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, Gerhard and Evelyn, and his brother, James.
He is survived by his daughter, Eva Mohrman; his son, Marvin Mohrman Jr.; his brother, Donald Mohrman; his sister, Patricia Hall; his brother, William Mohrman; his brother, Richard Mohrman; his sister, Pamela Schaben; and his sister, Linda Olson. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held for Marvin on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM with full military honors at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery Fort Leonard Wood, located at 25350 State Highway H, Waynesville, MO 65583.
