Marvin Ray Fleetwood, 81 years, 11 months, and 4 days old, passed away on December 26, 2024, at his home with family by his side.
Marvin was born January 22, 1943, in Sweden, Missouri, to Frank and Retha (Hicks) Fleetwood.
Marvin was an Army Veteran and served honorably from 1964 to 1966.
Marvin and Sybil (Hampton) Turner were united in marriage on December 14, 1975, in Ava, Missouri.
Marvin enjoyed fishing, but most of all, he loved spending time with Sybil and their dog, Minnie, and all of his family.
Marvin was a Christian and was baptized.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Fleetwood and an infant brother, Tommy Fleetwood.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Sybil; two step-children, Dennis Turner and wife, Linda and Brenda McClure and husband, David; four grandchildren, Amy Wagner, Shane Turner, Shelly Gallaway, and Dusty McClure; seven great-grandchildren, Dylan, Kaitlyn, Chloe, Kye, Sawyer, Luxx, and Rydge; great great-granddaughter, Daisy; two brothers, David “Bob” Fleetwood and John Fleetwood; sister, Gerelene McFarlin; and many other relatives and friends.
Burial of cremains will be in the Goodhope Cemetery, Goodhope Missouri. Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.
