Mary Ann Rackley, daughter of the late Cleo and Zella Martin- Barton was born February 13, 1936, and passed December 24, 2024, in West Plains, MO at the age of 88.
She was a member of the Victory Freewill Baptist Church of Alton in her later years, after serving many years as a secretary/clerk for Pleasant Ridge Freewill Baptist Church. She retired from ASCS/FSA in 1998.
She was married in May of 1956, and to that union 6 children were born.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda Middleton of West Plains, David Rackley (Jeri) of Alton, Elaine (Robert) Johnson of Alton, Melinda Wray of Springfield, and Irma Thomas of Caulfield, her sisters, Wanda Johnson, Gertrude Jett, Mozella Jett, and Roberta Stevens. 13 grandkids, 18 great grand kids, and 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Oren Barton, her daughter Vanessa Clayton Reed.
Services will be Monday, December 30, 2024, at the Clary Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Roberts and Shayne Hammons officiating. Visitation will be 5-7pm Sunday December 29, 2024, at the Clary Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be David Wayne Middleton, Chris Rackley, Aaron Rackley, Bryan Trantham, Josh Holmes, Brandon Clayton, Bobby Clayton and Dewayne Barton.
