Mary Nickle, daughter of the late Dowe Woodrow Nickle, Sr. and Margaret (Beidleman) Nickle, was born July 3, 1939, in Hartville, Missouri, and passed away February 8, 2024, at Hartville Care Center in Hartville, Missouri, at 84 years of age.
Mary was raised in Hartville and graduated Hartville High School with the class of 1956. She graduated from cosmetology school and opened her first beauty salon in Mansfield, Missouri. Later, she moved back to Hartville and opened a salon in her home. She also started a kennel, raising and selling dogs. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, working puzzle books and listening to music, especially Elvis Presley recordings.
Mary is survived by one daughter, Kari Crowning, and a special friend, Evelyn Williams, both of Hartville, Missouri.
