Mary Joline Taylor, 88, of Mountain Home, AR, passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on February 14, 2023.
Joline was born in West Plains, MO, on December 6, 1934, to Byron C. and Cuma Louise (Sowards) Robbins.
Joline graduated from Gainesville High School in Gainesville, MO, in 1953. After graduating high school, she was married to Bruce Taylor and moved to Wichita, KS, where they had their children Daina, Kent, and Kevin. Joline also began her career at Boeing during this time, where she worked for 18 years.
She returned to Lick Creek in 1971, where she was instrumental in family businesses, including RLH Sanitation, for 33 years.
Joline is survived by her daughter, Daina Taylor, of Mtn. Home, AR; her grandchildren Kyle Lewis, Devin Lewis, Ashley (Lewis) Gott, and Kilei Taylor; 10 great-grandchildren; her sister, Jackie (Robbins) Hoff, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bobby C. Robbins; her sons, Kent and Kevin Taylor; and one great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Lewis.
The family will respect Joline’s wishes – as we always have – and hold services for her closest family and friends to celebrate her life at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, MO.
